• Edina Public Schools receives Aaa credit rating from Moody’s

    Moody’s Investor Service has assigned an Aaa rating to Edina Public Schools (EPS), one of only three districts in the state to receive such a high credit rating. The rating allows EPS to obtain the lowest interest rates available when borrowing funds.

  • EHS student to perform at Carnegie Hall

    Ariana Song, a junior at Edina High School (EHS), has been selected for the 2015 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, which will take place Sunday, Feb. 22 in New York City. Song will join performers from 49 states and numerous countries as a tenor trombone player for the special performance at one of music’s premier venues.

  • EPS educators chosen to participate in Global Competence Training

    Teaching students to have a global awareness, one of the Edina Public Schools’ (EPS) six educational competencies, can take a lot of imagination for teachers and students who may not have a lot of international or intercultural experiences. But soon this effort will get a boost as 10 EPS educators pursue graduate-level certificates in global competency through a groundbreaking program.

Board approves Concept Plan. Special election to be held May 5, 2015 


A Concept Plan that was designed to facilitate upgrades and new developments at all of Edina’s public schools was voted on and approved by the School Board at its meeting on Jan. 12, 2015. The referendum seeks voter approval on a $124.9 million “Next Generation Facilities” proposal for additions and renovations to meet the needs of our learners.
